WARRANTY TERM: The term shall exist for the stated time expressed on your Invoice at the time of purchase. If no period is quoted on Invoice, then product was sold AS IS. All high performance and engine swaps have an AS IS warranty.

JAPAN DIRECT will warranty all internal parts to be free of defects for the term of the warranty for any reason other than the following: Overheating, oil starvation due to neglect and disassembly without written authorization. Japan Direct has the sole right to choose to pay for repair, or replace the product or refund the purchase price.

Warranty will also cover excessive oil consumption (more than 1 quart per 800 miles).

HEADGASKETS: 90 days only if the heat tabs are not melted.

ACCESSORIES: If accessories are attached to engine, they are not guaranteed to be the same or to fit a particular application and are not covered by this warranty. Use of all your external components is required. (Distributor, Carb, Water pump, Manifolds, Oil pan, Pickup tube, etc.)

WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER: Towing, Car rental, Oil leaks (except cracks in long block or headgasket). Any incidental, Special, Consequential, or Exemplary damages. No labor unless purchased separately.

LIMITED WARRANTY: This warranty is given in lieu of all other warranties expressed or implied, including any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, on the part of Japan Direct, or installer. No agent or employee thereof, is authorized to modify this warranty.

TRANSMISSION WARRANTY: Japan Direct warranties its used Transmissions for 6 (six) months. Transmission Warranty does not cover damage due to faulty installation, fluid leaks, misuse, abuse, accidents, negligence or labor.
